According to the airline’s sales director, Jacinto Júnior, the decision to open up this new route was suggested by a study carried out by the company’s delegation in Johannesburg, which found there was a business market for that region of South Africa.

The airline will analyse the state of the operation over the first few months and, if the number of passengers exceeds the aircraft’s capacity, it may be replaced with a larger aircraft or the number of flights per week may increase, said Júnior.

Taag currently flies to several international destinations, such as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paaulo (Brazil), Lisbon (Portugal), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Beijing (China), South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo and other African countries. (macauhub)
