China’s Jiangsu International finishes construction of Cabinda stadium in Angola

Cabinda, Angola, 23 Dec – Chinese construction company Jiangsu International has handed over the Cabinda stadium which will host one of the series of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations-Angola 2010.

With capacity to seat 20,000 people the National Chiazi Stadium cost US$80 million and was built in an area of 20,000 square metres.

The Cabinda Stadium is part of a group of another three stadiums located in Luanda, Benguela and Lubango and which cost a total of US$600 million.

The Luanda Stadium, with capacity for 50,000 people, is being built by Chinese company Shanghai Urban Construction Group Corporation, whilst the Benguela and Lubango stadiums are the responsibility of China’s Sinohydro Corporation. (macauhub)
