Mozambique facilitates opening of casinos and lowers minimum investment

Maputo, Mozambique, 13 Jan – Mozambique has approved a law facilitating online gaming and the installation of slot machines outside casinos, besides approving the construction of casinos anywhere in the country, reports the Mozambican news agency AIM.

Cited by the Bloomberg news agency, AIM adds that the minimum investment for building a casino has been lowered to US$8 million from 15 million per terms of the law promulgated by Mozambican President Armando Guebuza. (macauhub)
