Groups from Angola and Portugal acquire Spanish stake in Portuguese company

Lisbon, Portugal, 24 Feb – Portugal’s Mota-Engil Ambiente e Serviços and Angola’s Finicapital-Investimentos e Gestao and Globalpactum, Gestao de Activos, have acquired a 50 percent stake in the Portuguese company Serviços Logísticos de Portos Portugueses (SLPP) from Dragados-Servicios Portuarios y Logisticos, indicates an announcement posted on the Portuguese Competition Authority’s website.

SLPP holds all the shares of Sadoport-Terminal Maritimo do Sado, which operates port facilities in Setubal south of Lisbon.

Finicapital and Globalpactum are two of Mota-Engil’s partners in Angola and along with Sonangol and Banco Popular de Angola signed last June the note of understanding for the establishment of Mota-Engil Angola.
