Portuguese construction company Teixeira Duarte to build Angola’s new parliament

Lisbon, Portugal, 9 March – Portuguese construction company Teixeira Duarte is to build the new National Assembly building in Angola, a project estimated to cost 185 million euros, the company said in a statement issued in Lisbon Monday.

In a statement filed with Portuguese stock market regulator, CMVM, the company said that the building would be the “new political and administrative centre of Luanda,” and that the contract was signed under the terms of the Portugal-Angola financial convention.

The contract is worth 185 million euros and Teixeira Duarte has already received 15 percent of that amount. (macauhub)
