Film about Gorongosa Park in Mozambique wins gold and diamond prizes in Berlin tourism film festival

Berlin, Germany, 12 March – The film about the recuperation of the Gorongosa National Park, “Africa’s Lost Eden produced by National Geographic, has won two prizes at the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) in Berlin.

Thus, the film, which was screened for the third time at a tourism fair at ITB, won gold in the TV-Travel category and the Grand Diamond Prize for all the categories.

The film was shown for the first time in Mozambique and was later screened at two fairs, in Lisbon and in Madrid at the Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL) and the Madrid Tourism Fair (Fitur).

Vasco Galant, a senior worker at the Gorongosa National Park told Macauhub that the prizes honoured all the work and dedication to recover what is one of the world’s largest natural parks.

The Gorongosa National Park is undergoing a recuperation that began around six months ago implemented by a US foundation headed up by philanthropist Greg Carr. (macauhub)
