Kuito, Angola, 1 April – Businesspeople from the Angolan province of Bié, Tuesday in the city fo Kuito, presented the Secretary of State for Industry, Kiala Ngone Gabriel, with 33 projects worth US$84 million, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
The projects presented include investments in agriculture, mining, fishing, bread making, and construction of factories for zinc and ceramics.
At the meeting with the secretary of state for Industry, the business community and promoters of projects analysed the mechanisms of execution of the programmes presented by the businesspeople from the province.
The secretary confirmed that the sector was working with retail banks, such as credit facility covers the Banco de Desenvolvimento de Angola (BDA), Banco Africano de Investimentos (BAI), Banco de Poupança e Crédito (BPC), and Banco Espírito Santo Angola (BESA), with which it planned to establish a cooperation protocol to fund projects.
