Praia, Cape Verde, 6 Apr – The second Enterprise, Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair will be held this coming 30 July to 1 August in the city of Mindelo on Sao Vicente Island, Cape Verdean news agency Inforpress has reported.

Plans call for the event to take place in the FIC-Mindelo space, taking into account the success of the first such fair, held last year in Praia, the agency adds.

The event was created to provide favourable conditions for opening new businesses and information about business opportunities, and to publicize job creation and micro-credit support programmes. Its organizers call it an ideal forum for encounters between exhibitors and visitors, from young business operators, students with innovative ideas and entrepreneurs.

The same source indicates that the contact exchanges will enable assessment of innovative business initiatives, besides facilitating contacts between businesspeople and clients.
