Mozambique attends tourism fair in China

Maputo, Mozambique, 12 April – Mozambique is due to take part from 28 to 30 April, in China, in the Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM-2010), the 6th edition of the Beijing tourism fair, according to the spokesman for the Mozambican Tourism ministry (MICTUR).

Rafael Nambale, told Portuguese news agency Lusa that three Mozambican travel agencies would be present in the Mozambique pavilion, which will be 18 square metres in area, to exhibit the tourism potential of Mozambique. Decoration of the pavilion will b the responsibility of Chinese company Shangai Excell Network Technology.

According to Rafael Nambale, the exhibitors will present the tourism potential of Mozambique with a view to “piquing the interest of Chinese tourists,” and “publicising the opportunities to the Chinese business sector.

Agência de Viagens Turismo, Golden Travel and Mozambique Welcome Travel will “sell packages of beach and jungle tours,” at COTTM, one of the most important tourism exhibitions in China, because, “China has shown interest in Mozambique’s beaches and jungle,” Nambale said.(macauhub)
