Angolan group Silisa opens US$2.5-million hotel in Luanda

Luanda, Angola, 16 April – Angolan group Silisa has invested some US$2.5 million in the construction of a hotel complex in the Benfica neighbourhood of Luanda, the “Sunsil Hotel” located in an area of 5,000 square metres, the chairman of the company’s board, Sílvio Samuel said.

The hotel, which has 51 rooms, has a restaurant with seating capacity of 100 people, a conference room, a meeting room, pool, games room, gym, beauty salon and a car park with capacity for 100 vehicles.

The hotel has a vast leisure area, covering some 1,000 square metres, which includes green areas, a children’s play area and terraces.

Grupo Silisa, which is Angola-based, has been in the market for over 10 years, and works in the construction, pharmaceutical and hotels sectors.

According to Samuel, the company is also preparing to build a condominium in Benfica, to be built on an area of 4,000 square metres. The project includes 50 two-bedroom houses, which will be sold at a price of US$120,000. (macauhub)
