Sao Tome, Sao Tome and Principe, 28 April – The West African island of Sao Tome is, as of May, to have a construction materials factory, the investor and owner of the factory, Portuguese businessman Carlos Costa said Tuesday in Sao Tome.
The factory will be called Lenindustrial and will cover an area of 15,000 square metres. It will manufacture several types of nail, zinc and cement derivatives, such as joists, sewage units, ducts, pipes, tiles and balustrades.
