Angolan national diamond company signs mining contract

Luanda, Angola, 12 May – Angolan diamond company Endiama is due Wednesday to sign a mining contract with Sociedade Mineira de Luana, Angolan news agency Angop reported.

A statement from the Endiama Marketing and Communications Department, said this was the first contract in the exploration area to be signed by the company’s new board of directors, headed up by António Carlos Sumbulo.

The statement said that Sociedade Mineira do Luana would be made up of Endiama, South Africa’s Trans Hex and Angolan companies Caxinji, Wenji and Za-Kufuna.

Endiama, Angola’s national diamond prospecting, surveying, exploration, polishing and sales company, signed its last contract three years ago the statement said. (macauhub)
