Saurimo, Angola, 17 May – The Luso-Angolan beverage company Refriango is investing US$150 million in a new factory unit which should begin operations at the end of the year in Luanda, says the company’s commercial promotion director, Axel Joca.

The investment is meant to ensure a more diverse high quality offering and excellent service for consumers, Joca said on Friday in Saurimo, Lunda Sul province, during a meeting with company clients on the sidelines of the Road Show Blue tour.

The company is also focusing continually on innovation, as it is not possible to increase the product range without innovation, he said.

As a result of the emphasis on product quality, in Belgium Refriango recently received silver medals for the Blue brand and Welwitchia tonic water, while its Nutry juice received a gold awarded by Monde Selection.

Refriango commercialises the soft drinks Blue, Flash, Speed, Red Cola and Welwitchia, the juices Nutry and Tutti Nutry, and the wines Dom Cacho and Gaivota, among other beverages. (macauhub)
