Angola’s customs service to control export and import of oil and gas

Luanda, Angola, 27 May – As of October the import and export of oil and gas to and from Angola will be controlled by the National Customs Directorate (DNA), via a software system called SIPG (Computerised Oil and Gas System), Armindo Victor, a technician from the directorate said in Luanda.

Victor said that the SIPG system was 75 percent concluded.

Victor also said that by October the SIPG would be totally ready and would provide all statistical data about crude oil and gas imports and exports in Angola.

The SIPG system will make it possible for customs services as well as oil import and export agents to share information.

The system will also control navigation, shipments and exports of oil and gas. (macauhub)
