Sao Paulo, Brazil, 28 May – Chinese car manufacturer Chana Motors plans to launch in Brazil, in 2011, four tourer model cars, after three years of operations focused on selling utility vehicles, Portuguese magazine Exame reported.
Brazil’s Districar, the company´s official representative, plans to import around 250 units of each model per month.
The new vehicles are the Benni Mini, the Benni and the sedan and standard versions of the Alsvin, which complement utility models, Family, Utility and Cargo.
Holding company Changan Automobiles, of which the Chana Automobile International Company is a part, is the second biggest car manufacturer in China.
The Chinese group, which is based in Chongquin, has partnerships with US company Ford and Japan’s Mazda, Mitsubishi and Suzuki. (macauhub)
