Vitória, Brazil, 4 June – The 2nd Brazilian business mission to Mozambique is to include seven companies from the cosmetics sector in the state of Paraná that will be supported by the state’s Service to Support Micro and Small Companies (Sebrae), the mission’s organisers said.
Ahead of the journey, which will take place during this year’s International Maputo Fair (Facim) from 30 August to 6 September, there will be a working session at the Vidal Life Cosméticos company, with its headquarters in Colombo, which manufactures soaps, hair dyes and dental floss, amongst other products.
The company will be part of the mission by sending two representatives, and will also be present at Facim with its own stand.
This month, Sebrae and the International Business Centre (CIN) are planning a meeting on business opportunities in Mozambique at the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (FIEP), in the state capital Curitiba.
The 1st Brazilian business mission to Mozambique, held in 2009, was a success, according to its organisers, with most of the participating companies now involved in business with Mozambican companies, particularly in the oil and gas, ornamental rocks, clothing, metal works and construction sectors.
Other deals at an advanced stage of negotiations are construction of a marble workshop, in partnership with a Mozambican businessman, software supply and textbooks for primary schools. (macauhub)
