Purchase, USA, 8 June – The Atlas Air cargo carrier announced last week it would begin offering charter passenger flights between the US oil capital Houston and Angola.
The company, a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc., announced on its webpage that the arrangement was made possible following an agreement with Sonair-Serviço Aereo, Angolan national oil company Sonangol’s carrier, which will provide the aircraft.
Atlas Air also indicated that beginning this week there will be three non-stop flights per week between Houston and Luanda, Angola.
The flights will be made on behalf of the US Africa Energy Association (USAEA) and will not be available to the general public. (macauhub)
