Shanghai, China, 24 June – The Amorim group plans to build a factory in China, where it projects to get 20 percent of its turnover from cork rather than the current 2 percent, the group’s representative in China said in Shanghai.
Speaking to Portuguese news agency Lusa, Mário Costa said that work on the factory would begin in October in the Xian region and the factory was expected to be ready six months later.
The investment totals 3.5 million euros and the factory, according to Costa, will employ 70 people. (macauhub)
