Angola’s foreign reserves see significant growth this year

Luanda, Angola, 30 June – Angola currently has foreign reserves totalling US$20 billion, due to growth seen between December 2009 and June, 2010, the director of the reserves management office of the National Bank of Angola said Tuesday in Luanda.

Speaking to state radio station, Rádio Nacional de Angola, Marta Paixão e Silva said that in seven months the country’s foreign reserves had increased by US$3 billion.

Marta da Paixão e Silva also said that, by the end of the year, Angola’s international reserves should see a “significant increase, as they are continuing to grow.” (macauhub)
