Ondjiva, Angola, 1 July – Three hundred exhibitors, including Angolan and foreign companies, are due to take part from 10 July, in the city of Ondjiva, capital of Angola’s Cunene province, in the fifth edition of Expo-Cunene 2010, the event’s director said Wednesday.
Speaking to Angolan news agency Angop, the director of Expo-Cunene, Francisco Boleth, said that the fair would have exhibitors from South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia and would cover several economic sectors with greatest focus on construction, agri-livestock, retail and industry.
The fair, which will be on for 30 days, will also be the venue for a cattle auction.
Expo-Cunene commemorates Cunene province day (10 July) and aims to create business opportunities and trade exchanges between businesspeople from Angola and Southern Africa. (macauhub)
