Luanda, Angola, 4 Aug – Poland has announced that it is open to providing a credit line of US$90 million to fund the conclusion of construction of the Fishing Academy in the Angolan province of Namibe, a project that has already benefited from direct participation by Polish technicians.
The first phase of construction of the Academy began in 2008 and Poland contributed US$14 million.
The information was provided Tuesday in Luanda by the Polish Business Attache to Angola, Jacek Wasilewski, when summarising the current state of cooperation between the countries.
Work on the Namibe Fishing Academy is due for conclusion in 2012, according to Angolahub news agency.
Wasilewski also said that the Angolan government was preparing the diplomas for the funding to be received by the authorities that are responsible for the project. (macauhub)
