Lisbon, Portugal, 13 Aug – Portuguese airline TAP plans to launch more scheduled flights between Portugal and China, weekly newspaper “i” reported.
TAP has requested three scheduled air transport licenses from the national Civil Aviation Institute (INAC).
The airline last week asked for three licenses for scheduled flights to Beijing and Shanghai, the paper reported.
The licenses are likely to be related to the fact that the Portuguese community in China is increasing along with the growth of the Chinese economy.
TAP plans to link Lisbon and Porto to Beijing and Shanghai.
“i” also said that all the airlines that now plan to present alternative proposals to that of TAP have 15 working days to do so. (macauhub)
