British company awarded tender for solar power in Mozambique

Dartford, United Kingdom, 18 Aug – British company Fortune CP Ltd has been awarded the contract for supervision of supply and installation of photovoltaic solar systems for providing power to districts in the Mozambican province of Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Niassa, the company said.

Launched by the Mozambican Energy Fund (Funae) and financed by the European Commission, the project will last for three years and Fortune CP Ltd will be working in partnership with Mozambican company Nhlamulu Consultores.

Fortune CP has a strong presence in Southern Africa, manufacturing, supplying and installing solar projects in countries such as South Africa, Malawi, Lesotho, Angola and Zimbabwe. (macauhub)
