Lubango, Angola, 25 Aug – Business deals carried out at Expo Huíla-2010 totalled around US$2 million, according to a provisional balance of revenues from the fair, held between 18 and 22 August, in the Angolan city of Lubango.

According to a source from the Huíla Agri-Livestock, Commercial and Industrial Association (Aapcil), a balance of the fair is still being carried out although its is already possible to give the value of the business deals made by the 150 Angolan and foreign companies that took part in the fair.

The 24th edition of Expo/Huíla, an event set up to promote the production potential of the southern region, was attended by businesspeople from Angola, Portugal, Italy, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, South Africa, China and Germany. (macauhub)
