Luau, Angola, 6 Sept – A privately-owned hotel unit called Hotel Quimbo, with 31 available beds, was opened Saturday in Luau municipality, in Angola’s Moxico province, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
Located in the town centre, Hotel Quimbo has 25 rooms, of which 15 are suites, a restaurant with capacity for 50 people, a terrace with room for 16 people, an administrative area, Bar and industrial kitchen.
Its construction, which cost US$1.6 million, took 20 months.
The manager of the project, Octávio Roberto Braz, told Angop that the second phase of construction (due to start before the end of the year) included conference rooms, games room, a swimming pool and other facilities.
With this new unit Moxico province now has a total of four hotels, three of which are located in the city of Luena. (macauhub)
