City of Ondjiva, Angola to have four star hotel

Ondjiva, Angola, 8 Sept – Construction of the first four-star hotel in the city of Ondjiva, the capital of Angola’s Cunene province, which began last April, is due to be concluded in August 2011, the inspector from consulting company CB Consultoria said in Ondjiva Saturday.

The building is being built by Chinese company Guangdong Group Ltd, sub-contracted by Angolan construction company OOS Construções.

Rogeiro André told Angolan news agency Angop that the future hotel, called “Pricila,” represented an investment of US$14 million, and once it was finished would have 64 rooms, four normal suites and a presidential suite as well as a restaurant for 180 people.

It will also have three conference rooms for 200 people, a night club, gymnasium, swimming pool and other facilities, he said. (macauhub)
