Atlanta, United States of America, 14 October – US airline Delta is to start flying to Angola on 20 January 2011, the company said in a statement issued in Atlanta.
Under the terms of the statement, Delta will carry out three flights per week between Atlanta and the Angolan capital, Luanda using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Luanda will be Delta’s eighth African destination and flights will include a stopover in Dakar, Senegal.
Delta also said it was working with Angolan airline Taag in order to set up a code share agreement. (macauhub)
