Angolan government to build hotel training schools in some provinces

Waku Kungo, Angola, 16 Nov – Angola’s Minister for Hotels and Tourism, Pedro Mutindi, said Sudnay in the city of Waku Kungo, Kwanza Sul province, that in 2011 the government planned to build training schools in some provinces across the country.

Speaking at the inauguration of the second phase of the Ritz Hotel, in Waku Kungo, Mutindi said that the sector was growing and thus there were plans to set up training schools in the provinces of Benguela, Kwanza Sul and Huíla in order to meet the demand of tourism development in Angola.

He added that the sector’s private companies should also support the process by training their staff in order to offer customers a better quality service.

Hotel Ritz has 45 rooms, a restaurant, bar and night club and the Kwanza Sul hotel network is made up of 21 hotels, 60 inns and a further 80 restaurants and similar establishments. (macauhub)
