Chinese vehicles assembled in Angola exhibited at 2nd edition of Angola Motor Show

Luanda, Angola, 26 Nov – CSG Automobile is exhibiting the Angola-assembled versions of vehicles from Chinese company Dong Feng at the 2nd edition of the Angola Motor Show, on from Thursday to Sunday in Luanda.

The man responsible for the CSG Automobile stand, Shi Guo Zhuang, told Angolan news agency Angop that the vehicles had been assembled in Angola since 2007, and their prices ranged from US$25,000 and US$89,000.

The CSG vehicle assembly factory, located in the municipality of Viana in Luanda province, produces all kinds of vehicles, such as jeeps, Vans and small, medium and large  buses and accessories, as well as selling and hiring out vehicles.

The investment made b y Dong Feng totals US$30 million and the project is expected to create 680 direct jobs, 510 of which for Angolan workers.

The event, which is organised by Arena Direct, in partnership with the Luanda International Fair (Filda), is attended by 15 foreign car brands, represented by 19 concession-holders. (macauhub)
