Maputo, Mozambique, 2 Dec – a Mozambican delegation, made up of members of the government and representatives of 15 companies, has travelled to London to take part in a bilateral investment conference due to start Thursday in the British capital.

The United Kingdom-Mozambique Investment Conference is a forum that aims to showcase investment opportunities in Mozambique, in the agricultural, mining, tourism and infrastructure sectors.

A source from the Mozambican Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA), told Mozambican news agency AIM that the investor forum would be split into three sessions in which the themes would be “Investing in Mozambique: History, prospects and opportunities,” “Investing in key sectors: Agri-business and tourism” and “Developing Infrastructure.”

The event will be an opportunity for potential investors in the United Kingdom to speak to Mozambican representatives, members of the government and British businesspeople that already operate in the country, about existing business and investment opportunities. (macauhub)
