Macau airport company to sign protocol with Portuguese civil aviation companies

Macau, China, 3 Dec – Macau’s airport management company, CAM, and Portugal’s ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal and NAV – Navegação Aérea on 9 December are due to sign a preferential cooperation protocol for future work in China and the Portuguese-speaking countries.

Portuguese news agency Lusa cited a source as saying that the protocols to be signed between CAM and the two Portuguese companies outlined “preferential choice” for partnerships in the design and management of airports in ANA’s case and for air traffic issues for NAV.

The protocol, which is due to be signed during the 3rd China –Portuguese-speaking Countries Airports Conference due to take place in Macau from 8 to 10 December, covers both China and the Portuguese-speaking countries.

The Macau conference aims to boost ties between aviation sector players in China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, exchange information about aviation and projects and opportunities for cooperation between the participating countries. (macauhub)
