Angolan airline Taag suspends flights to United Arab Emirates and China

Luanda, Angola, 31 Dec – Angolan national airline Taag said Thursday in Luanda that it had suspended its flights to the United Arab Emirates and China for operational reasons until further notice.

A statement from the company’s communications department announcing the changes to its schedule for operational reasons also noted there would be changes to flights on 3 January, 2011 to Havana, Cuba and on 4 January to Lisbon, Portugal.

Taag flies to several African cities including Johannesburg (South Africa), Windhoek (Namibia), Maputo (Mozambique), Sao Tome (Sao Tome and Principe), Lusaka (Zambia), Harare (Zimbabwe), its only European destination is Lisbon (Portugal), and to Asia; Beijing (China) and Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and in the Americas to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Havana (Cuba).
