Lisbon, Portugal, 31 Dec – Angolan companies have confirmed their presence at the International Wine, Fish and Agri-Food Fair (SISAB), due to be held in Lisbon, Portugal from 21 to 23 February, one of the event’s organisers said in Luanda Thursday.
José Duarte, of SISAB’s organisers, in Luanda told Angolan news agency Angop that more than 1,200 buyers were expected to attend the fair who would be able to assess the products of at least 400 Portuguese and foreign companies, including some from Angola.
In the 2010 edition of SISAB, held from 22 to 24 February, from the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) there were importing companies from Angola, Cape Verde and Brazil.
The Angolan delegation took part in the last fair with some 35 businesspeople, from the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Huíla and Namibe, and this year are expected to take at least 250 Angolan businesspeople, including exhibitors and buyers. (macauhub)
