Mozambique’s Banco Comercial e de Investimentos opens 26 branches and Corporate Centres in 2010

Maputo, Mozambique, 6 Jan – Mozambican bank Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI) in 2010 opened a further 26 branches and Corporate Centres and now has 95 branches and business centres, the bank said in a statement issued in Maputo.

There are already BCI Corporate centre for large medium-sized and small companies in Nampula, Maputo, Beira, Nacala and Matola.

Banco Comercial e de Investimentos is controlles by Portuguese state financial group Caixa Geral de Depósitos, with 51 percent and the remaining two large shareholders are Portugal’s BPI group with 29.55 percent, and Mozambican group Grupo Insitec, with 18.12 percent. (macauhub)
