Luanda, Angola, 10 Jan – Angola’s minister for Geology and Mining, Joaquim David, said Friday in Luanda that the re-launch of Angola’s textile industry would be carried out in three phases.
The first phase, the minister said, included the Textang II fabric factory, the funding proposal for which, guaranteed by the government, had already been signed.
This will be followed by África Têxtil, in Benguela province, negotiations for which are underway and a financing contract is expected to be signed in a little over a month, and finally, the Satec factory, in Dondo.
The minister also said that the proposal for financing the Malanje cotton processing project had also been signed. (macauhub)
