IMF mission visits Guinea Bissau until Friday

Bissau, Guinea Bissau, 11 Jan – A mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) arrived in Guinea Bissau Monday to assess the country’s economic situation, according to a statement from the Guinean Economy Ministry.

During its stay the IMF mission will meet with several government departments to discuss issues such as Guinean macroeconomic policy, the cooperation agreement with Angola and other partners and the process of formulating the Second Document for the National Strategy to Reduce Poverty (Denarp II).
