Macau delegation takes part in meeting in Dongguan, Guangdong province

Macau, China, 11 Jan – A delegation from Macau is due in the city of Dongguan, in China’s Guangdong province, from 12 to 15 January, to take part in the 2010 Annual Meeting between the Agencies for Promotion of Investment of china and Foreign Countries, officials said in Macau.

Organised by the permanent secretariat of Forum Macau, the Macau delegation will also take part in the Forum for Promotion of Investment in Strategic Emerging Industries, and both meetings are organised by the Agency for Investment Promotion of China’s Trade Ministry.

Macau’s participation in the meeting aims to boost mutual investment cooperation between china and the Portuguese-speaking countries and Macau, present the investment climate of the Portuguese-speaking countries and boost Macau’s role as a services platform for the economic and trade sectors between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries.

The delegation will be made up of around 30 people, including representatives of embassies of the Portuguese-speaking countries in China, representatives of investment promotion agencies from the Portuguese-speaking countries and Macau- and Portuguese-owned company Geocapital. (macauhub)
