Sao Tome and Principe prime minister visits Taiwan

Macau, china, 12 Jan – The prime minister of Sao Tome and Principe, Patrice Trovoada, is due Wednesday to start a four-day visit to Taiwan, at the invitation of the Taipei authorities, Macau Portuguese-language daily Ponto Final reported.

The State Budget support for 2011, mobilisation of the private sector in Taiwan and investment in the energy sector are some of the main points on the agenda.

Sao Tome and Principe is one of the few countries that has diplomatic relations with Taiwan and not with China. (macauhub)
