Norwegian company EMGS awarded contract in Mozambique

Trondheim, Norway, 28 Jan – Norwegian company Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has been awarded a contract worth US$8.5 million to gather 3D electromagnetic data on the Mozambican coast, the company said in a statement published Thursday.

The company also said that the BOA Galatea ship, currently operating in New Zealand, would start operating in Mozambique at the begging of the second quarter of the year.

EMGS is specialised in gathering 3D electromagnetic data using proprietary technology. Its main customers are oil companies. (macauhub)
