Brazilian company Embraer attends aviation fair in Hong Kong

Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, 2 March – Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is to take part in Asian aerospace Expo 2011, to be held in Hong Kong from 8 to 10 March of this year, the company said in a statement issued in Sao Jose dos Campos Tuesday.

At the fair Embraer plans to promote its complete collection of executive jets and will present its most recent product, the Legacy 650, for the first time.

According to the statement, Embraer, as well as being the only world manufacturer to offer a complete line of executive jet aircraft, in 2010 was responsible for 19 percent, or practically one in every five deliveries of executive jet aircraft in the world.

The Legacy 650 went into operation in 2010 and can carry 14 passengers and fly non-stop between London and New York or Miami and Sao Paulo, for example. (macauhub)
