Sao Paulo, Brazil, 10 March – The China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk) opened another sales and servicing outlet for its vehicles in Brazil, in São Bernardo do Campo, 14 kilometres from Sao Paulo, the Brazilian press reported.
Known as Sinotruk Caminhões, the new outlet, which is expected to account for 35 percent of the brand’s truck sale sin Brazil, increases the number of outlets in the country to 23, and by the end of the year Sinotruk Brasil should have 37 sales outlets.
Rodolfo Mansberger, director of the new unit, said that the big difference in the service provided by the brand was related to the attention given to the driver, who along with theory classes on how to better use the vehicle, will be accompanied on the first trip by a company technician.
State group Sinotruk is one of the world’s largest truck manufacturers and in 2010 produced 190,000 units weighing over 19 tons each, which is substantially more than the joint production of all the brands that sell their products in Brazil. (macauhub)
