Luanda, Angola, 11 April – Angolan bank Banco Africano de Investimentos (BAI) ended 2010 with net assets of over US$8.38 billion (growth of around 1 percent against 2009), Angolan news agency Angop reported.
In 2010 the bank posted net profit of US$228 million.
Regulatory equity rose by 10 percent, totalling US$688 million, whilst the solvency ratio was 13.67 percent, against 12.86 percent in 2009.
In 2010, the number of employees at the bank rose by around 12 percent to 1,046 and the average number of customers was 321,211, which was a 9 percent increase on the previous year. (macauhub)
