Portugal’s MonteAdriano awarded building projects worth 24 million euros in Cape Verde

Praia, Cape Verde, 14 April – Portuguese construction company MonteAdriano has been awarded the tenders for six construction projects in Cape Verde, worth a total of 23.7 million euros.

The company, which is based in Póvoa do Varzim in northern Portugal, had previously been awarded the construction of three dams costing 14 million euros.

The new projects include construction of a landfill area for waste, construction of the Nova Sintra/Furna, and the Achada/Laje roads, paving the Assomada/Tarrafal road, repairing the Ribeira Brava/Juncalinho road on S. Nicolau Island, and construction of 110 social houses in Santa Cruz, on Santiago Island.

The Portuguese group operates in the areas of engineering, construction, environment, aggregates and concrete, real estate and tourism. (macauhub)
