Angola’s flagship airline to add two Boeing 777s to fleet

Luanda, Angola, 5 May – Angolan national airline TAAG plans to expand its fleet in June with two Boeing 777-300 aircraft, the country’s transport minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás said in Luanda cited by state television Televisão Popular deAngola (TPA).

The minister said, according to TPA, that ahead of the aircrafts’ arrival, “we are already dealing with training the company’s staff, mainly the pilots, as well as preparing a significant restructuring of the company.”

TAAG’s current fleet is made up of six Boeing 737s, three Boeing 747s and three Boeing 777s. (macauhub)
