Luanda, Angola, 19 May – Angolan company Force Solutions plans to build a factory to manufacture energy-saving light bulbs in Luanda in partnership with a Chinese company, Angolan weekly newspaper Expansão reported, citing the company’s managing director, Hailé Cruz.
The factory will be Force Solutions’ first big investment in the industrial sector and this year it expects to invest around US$10 million, the newspaper said.
The company, which has been in the market for two years, focused its business on consulting and supervision of construction projects across Angola, specifically in the provinces of Luanda, Lunda-Sul and Malanje, as well as logistics and transport consulting.
Cruz also told Expansão that the feasibility study for construction of the light bulb factory was underway and that production was scheduled to begin at the end of 2012. (macauhub)
