Luanda, Angola, 7 June – Angola’s trade minister, Idalina Valente, said Friday in Luanda that the Law on micro, small and medium-sized companies was due to be approved soon, in order to make setting up businesses of this kind, mainly in the retail sector, quicker and cheaper.

Speaking at the opening of the, “Seminar on Commercial Legislation,” she noted the need to create mechanisms for this to occur, which was why the new Law was due for approval in the country’s parliament, along with commercial legislation.

In terms of commercial sector legislation explained to the seminar’s participants, Valente noted the executive decree on records, as the trade ministry needed to know which companies are providing services and selling goods to the population.

As well as in Luanda, where technicians from Cabinda province are also taking ºart, similar seminars have been taking place since Friday in the south, centre, east and north of Angola bringing together traders and businesspeople from the country’s remaining 16 provinces. (macauhub)
