Luanda, Angola, 27 Sept – The 2nd edition of the Angola Real Estate Salon (SIMA2011) ended Sunday in Luanda with results that were considered to be positive by the event’s organisers based on partnerships, business contacts and meetings between exhibitors and visitors.
The event, which involved at least 100 companies from four countries, for the second time was used to promote and attract investment to the country and to publicise the stable macroeconomic climate in Angola.
In terms of deal figures, the event’s organisers said that so far no figures were available, but noted that gains made with this SIMA had fundamentally been based on the chosen theme of “Housing for everyone,” the contacts made and the partnerships that were established.
According to Angolan news agency Angop, participating companies ended the event with their businesses strengthened.
The second edition of SIMA, which was co-organised by Feira Internacional de Luanda (FIL) and the Association of Real estate Professionals of Angola (Apima), involved exhibitors from Angola, Portugal, Brazil and China. (macauhub)
