Luanda, Angola, 13 July – The maiden commercial flight of the second of two Boeing 777-300Ers recently bought by Angolan flagship airline Linhas Aéreas de Angola (Taag) is due to be carried out Wednesday linking Luanda to Sao Paulo, in Brazil, state newspaper Jornal de Angola said citing the airline’s chief executive, Rui Carreira.
This aircraft is the second Boeing of the same model that the Angolan airline ordered from Boeing and of which it has taken delivery. The aircraft has 293 seats – 12 in first class, 56 in executive and 225 in economy.
Angola’s flagship airline has a fleet of t11 aircraft, and operates Boeing 777-200ERs on the routes to Lisbon, Beijing, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Pretoria and Johannesburg and Boeing 737-700s on domestic and regional routes. (macauhub)
