Australian mining company Globe Metals & Mining expected to conclude prospecting in Mozambique in August

Perth, Australia, 20 July – Australian mining company Globe Metals & Mining is expected to conclude its extensive rare earth minerals prospecting programme at its flourite project in Monte Muamba, Mozambique at the beginning of August the company said in a statement published Tuesday in Perth.

The company said that the prospecting programme would continue until then and the results of the first eight test drills would be known by the end of August.

The programme is intended to confirm the extent of areas containing high quality flourite and associated rare earth minerals that were identified in prospecting carried out in 2010.

At the beginning of the year Globe Metals & Mining established a strategic partnership with the East China Minerals Exploration and Development Bureau (ECE), a Chinese state company with mining operations in China and abroad.

Following the partnership, ECE became the main shareholder of Globe Metals & Mining. (macauhub)
