Angolan delegation takes part in a seminar on economic areas in Beijing

Beijing, China, 3 Aug – A delegation of representatives from the Angolan government and private companies is taking part in Beijing in a seminar on building economic areas organised by the International Trade Institute of the Chinese Trade Ministry, Angolan news agency Angop reported Wednesday.

The official Angolan news agency said that the Angolan mission was headed up by the secretary for Economic Affairs, Armando Manuel and made up of officials from the Foreign Relations, Industry, Treasury, construction, Higher education, Science and Technology, Planning, Telecommunications, Oil and Road Transport ministries.

The mission also includes officials from Angolan companies such as Pura Imagem, Angola Telecom, ZEE and Gesterra.

At the seminar, which will be run for 10 days, Chinese specialists are due to cover strategies to take into account when building economic areas for development.

The Angolan delegation is scheduled to visit Macau on 7 August following visits to industrial and tourist hubs, companies, ports and administrative and technology centres in mainland China. (macauhub)
